He's beside her; clasping her hand
staring at her innocent face; lost in dreams
lips;tender like rose petals
fighting the urge to kiss,to touch; He could never lose control
feeling sleepy; the shutters just won't close.
the sight was too precious; his eyes could never be sore
the smell of her hair, softness of her cheeks
He couldn't believe; He was living a dream
Most is a dream. Maybe we're here to learn how to take control of our unbridled dreams, and ride them in the direction we must. Maybe the contrary, to learn how to unbridle our dreams and let them lead us wherever they could. But movement is always needed. Dynamics are the gold of nature.
ReplyDeleteexactly...movement is always needed.

As I have often wrote here in comments I have this memory of a special time with a lady that I pray will never go away. This poem did much to help refresh that one, too short of a time.
ReplyDeleteI especially remember how her skin smelled as I held her.

If this my Baby (and I know she is not) I would use capital 'I' all the way through, but I am liking this, you. I am liking the sentiment running through.

Oh my...what a dreamlike poem! Sometimes ...what I don't like about being a poet is that ..you created sweet and lovely words only in a dream but if you begin to explore it in the real word..."It sucks more than a dream".
